The Old Silk Store is a classical building built over 130 years ago. Tastefully and sympathetically restored the accommodation having previously been used for the local silk industry.
This stunning building was renovated by it’s English owner. This was to provide a lovely peaceful surrounding with a light and airy feel. Many of the original features can still be seen and enjoyed during your stay. You will find a luxurious use of marble. Also, a beautifully carved balcony that has proved to be a favourite for new brides alike. Facing the Aegean sea the views are quite simply stunning.
Local material were used to lightly restore the building, such as the heavy slate slabs used for the roof and the flag-stone courtyard.
Imagine sitting in the leafy court-yard enjoying your breakfast in the most peaceful and gentle surrounding charging your energy for the day ahead.
